ELPO
GmbH was founded in 1995, 7th March, by the engineer
Michael Popowitsch and the master mechanic Walter Elser.
In July of the same year Elpo moved with 7 employees
into the new plant in Backnang.
Today
there are about 20 employees working at ELPO GmbH.
Our
plant has a production area of approx. 1,200 m²
and an administration building with two floors.
In
the second half of 2001 ELPO GmbH have moved
into the new additional plant with an area of 60 x 21 m.
The building volume has increased to 22,000 m³.
ELPO
GmbH supplies world-wide solutions
for thermal process treatment up to complete production lines
for the manufacturing of safety glass, linings, automobile engines,
brake disks, steel and aluminium die casting parts, grid plates,
wood-wool and cement plates and many other products.
ELPO
units are operating already in Italy, Poland, Moldavia,
Brazil, the Czech Republic, Mexico, Austria, Canada, England,
Germany, Turkey, China, South Korea and Switzerland.
